We made it to the radio, now you decide.

familymind on Radio Gong

We’ve been selected to pitch on Radio Gong 96.3 Munich as part of their prestigious “Die 100.000 Euro-Idee” startup contest.

The winner is chosen by the audience, and that means you.

Something exciting is happening at familymind. We’ve been chosen to compete in one of Munich’s most visible startup stages: Radio Gong’s “Die 100.000 Euro-Idee” — a contest where real people decide which startup idea deserves to win a €100,000 media package to broadcast their message across radio, social media, and online.

This isn’t decided by a jury of investors. It’s decided by the public. By parents, families, and people who believe the invisible load of running a household deserves a real solution.

What is familymind?

Familymind.ai is an app that helps families organise their everyday life more easily. Appointments, to-dos, routines, meals, and shopping lists are all centralised in one place, so the weight of remembering everything doesn’t fall on just one person. The built-in AI helps with planning, sends reminders, and suggests how to share the load more fairly across the whole family.

What makes familymind different?

Most tools just collect tasks. familymind goes further by helping families proactively reduce planning chaos, overload, and invisible coordination before it turns into stress or conflict.

Our solution doesn’t just look at one person — it looks at the whole family system and helps distribute responsibility more fairly.

familymind solves a problem almost every family knows, but rarely talks about: the invisible burden of planning, remembering, and organising. We believe there’s a powerful Munich innovation story here — technology that isn’t just efficient, but genuinely changes something in society.

How did the idea come about?

The idea grew out of our own family lives. The biggest problem isn’t the tasks themselves — it’s the constant background thinking: remembering, planning, coordinating. That invisible mental work tends to land on one person, usually the mother.

We didn’t want to build yet another app that parents have to maintain. We wanted a solution that genuinely lightens the load in real family life. Supported by the EXIST startup grant through TUM and embedded in the UnternehmerTUM network, we turned that personal experience into a scalable technological solution.
