Welcome to familymind, the all-in-one Family AI Assistant designed to help families and workplaces run smoother. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the familymind mobile application, website, and related services (“Service”).
By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use familymind.

familymind is a consumer mHealth and productivity application. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (parental consent required for minors as per applicable law)
- Have legal capacity to enter into a contract
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
Family members under 16 may use kid-friendly features under the supervision of an adult account holder.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- Ensuring the information you provide is accurate
- Managing who you invite into your family group
You must not share your account with unauthorized individuals.
If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@familymind.ai.
4. How familymind Works
familymind provides tools including:
- AI-powered assistants
- Calendar and routine coordination
- Meal planning and household management
- Shared lists, tasks, and reminders
- Family collaboration features
- Optional employer-provided access
These tools help organize family life but do not replace your own judgment and responsibility.
5. AI Features & Limitations
familymind uses AI models to assist with planning, suggestions, and household coordination.
AI may occasionally produce:
- Incorrect or incomplete information
- Suggestions that require human review
- Content based on the data you provide
You agree not to rely on AI outputs as professional advice (e.g., medical, legal, financial, safety).
By using the app, you acknowledge that you remain responsible for all decisions made using AI-generated content.

7. Subscription & Payments
familymind offers:
- A free tier with limited features
- A Premium subscription, billed monthly or yearly
Auto-Renewing Subscriptions (required by Apple)
If you subscribe to Premium:
- Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel
- Your iTunes/App Store account is charged at confirmation of purchase
- Renewal is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings
familymind cannot cancel Apple subscriptions on your behalf.
Prices may change; you will be notified of price increases as required by law.
8. Family Groups & Shared Data
If you invite family members, partners, caregivers, or others:
- Some information may be visible to other group members (e.g., shared lists, tasks, events)
- You are responsible for managing permissions and member access
- You must invite only people you trust
familymind is not responsible for disputes arising from family group sharing.
9. Employer Accounts (if applicable)
If your employer provides access:
- The employer may pay for your access but cannot see your personal data
- Your data remains private and governed by our Privacy Policy
- Ending employment may end eligibility for employer-sponsored access
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Harass or harm other users
- Interfere with the app or security systems
- Use the Service to share harmful or inappropriate content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the app
- Use AI in ways that violate laws, privacy, or safety
Violation may lead to account suspension.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, brand assets, software, and AI models in familymind are owned by familymind GmbH, including:
- Logos
- Icons
- App UI
- Designs
- AI assistant features
- Text and graphical assets
You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part without written permission.
12. Disclaimers
familymind is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted service
- Error-free AI outputs
- That the app will meet every family’s needs
- That data will never be lost despite robust security measures
We are not liable for:
- Family or relationship disputes
- Missed reminders or scheduling errors
- Damages resulting from reliance on AI content
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- familymind is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages
- Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months
Some jurisdictions prohibit limiting liability; if so, these limits may not apply to you.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse features
- Pose security risks
- Misuse AI or shared family data
You may stop using the app at any time.
Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
We will notify you of material changes through:
- In-app notice, or
- Email, or
- Website updates
Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, unless mandatory laws of your country apply.
