Testing with Android

This guide is for the testers in our beta test who have been invited by email. If you have not been invited but would like to take part in future tests, you can join our waiting list here.

To participate in our betatest, please follow the steps below to access and install the test version of the app from the Google Play Store:

Step 1: Accept the Invitation

Click on the provided link to the testing program in the invitation email. This will redirect you to the Google Play testing page for our app.

Step 2: Join the Testing Program

On the testing program page, click the “Become a Tester” button.
You will see a confirmation message stating that you are now a tester.

Step 3: Install the App

Once you’ve joined the testing program, you’ll see a link to the app on the Play Store. Click the link to open the app page.
If you don’t see the link, you can search for the app in the Google Play Store (make sure you’re logged in with the same Google account you used to join the testing program).
Tap “Install” to download and install the app.

Step 4: Start Using the Test App

Explore and enjoy the app. Don’t forget to tell us about any bugs or other things you notice in the WhatsApp Tester group 😊❤️

Step 5: Stay Updated

During the test period, you may receive updates for the app. Please make sure to update to the latest version as soon as it’s available.
To update:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Navigate to “My apps & games” and find the test app in the list.
- Tap “Update”.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the setup:
- Ensure you are logged in to the Google Play Store with the same Google account you used to join the testing program.
- Check your email for the correct invitation link.
- Contact us directly in our WhatsApp group if you continue to have trouble.
